Summer is getting hotter. Hot weather, the sun, and humidity can definitely affect your skin. Exposing your skin for 15 hours to the sun (UVA & UVB) can cause a severe cell damage. Sweat combined with the loss of fluids can cause dehydration & heat stroke.
To protect your skin, here the best tips and tricks to keep your skin happy and healthy every day.

Water, Water & More Water!
No matter how much the quantity of water you drink, it is never enough.
When our intestines absorb water, the main organs are the first to be served.
When it comes to the skin, it gets the lowest quantity of moisture.
So, if you don’t drink the sufficient quantity of water, this means that you will leave your skin from the only thing that helps the cells get rid of the toxins and gives them the power to heal.
The most important thing is to drink enough water. The recommended amounts are 1.5 to 2 liters.
The main point is not to drink this amount of water at once. You need to drink it throughout the day. Try to drink a cup of water every 2 hours to keep your body hydrated.
For some reasons, some people don’t like drinking plain water; they can add some natural additives like lemon or rose essence. Another healthy alternative could be zero calorie vitamin or fruit water.
Don’t substitute the plain water with drinking carbonated and sugary beverages, such as soda and juices as well as drinks that cause water loss like tea and coffee (as both are diuretics and can potentate dehydration).
You Are What You Eat!
It’s known to every cosmetologist that dairy products lead to acne and pimples. So stay away from the dairy products. Poor & infelicitous food choices for breakfast can result in fat and cellulite exacerbation. Eating fried, sugary and unhealthy food can make skin overly oily and acne prone (open pores, papules, pustules, black and white heads) resulting in unattractive & blemished complexion. Try to keep a balanced diet, rich in fibers and antioxidants such as fresh fruits, dry fruits, meat, and fish.
Moisturizing Is The Secret To A Beautiful Skin
Moisturizing your skin is extremely important. Use some light creams or gels creams. Make sure to apply a hydrating facial cream and body lotion after showering/bathing and before as part of your daily routine. If you’re heading out, try to seek shade where possible and choose a day cream that contains SPF 50 to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. It is also recommended that you keep a facial mist (rose water is a great affordable option) on hand as this will help cool off your skin and provide necessary hydration throughout the day. Also, don’t forget about your hands and use SPF cream to protecting them.
No More Heavy Makeup
We advise NOT to wear a lot of makeup during the day such as thick foundations and concealers. Use water based foundations, light and moisturizing such as BB creams and lip balms with added SPF. The combination of heat, dehydration and heavy makeup can cause breakouts. Instead, choose products that are nourishing and refreshing.
8 Hours Of Beauty Sleep
Try to get proper sleep for 7-8 hours. If you don’t get time to sleep at night, you can get a short nap in the afternoon. Your skin will look fresh and dark circles free.
Some recent studies have shown that women need more sleeping hours than men.
The study also showed that women who get to sleep for 8 hours or more look younger than women who only sleep for 6 hours. So, sleeping is your new anti-aging cream.
